The Hotel
In a spacious apartment below the roof; greeted by the warm air. Bright wooden beams divide up the room. You leave your suitcases and go back down to the others. They are already sitting around the fire, engrossed in conversation. A hint of smoked bacon and fresh wine; Warmth flows through your body. Fulfilled by a long evening, you return to the dark apartment. Silence and, in the skylights, the clear night.
