The first water of the snowmelt gurgling through the nearby stream; a glistening that meanders amid the meadow. Hovering above the water on a lounger in the shadow of a willow tree. Gazing out into the broad valley, forested hills on both sides. After a while, strolling barefoot through the grass back to the house; and across the wood-clad floor of the courtyard. Balmy air in the semi-shade, the first guests already there.
