The Winery
In the gentle climate of the Southern Alps, the high plateau of Überetsch presents an extraordinary landscape. The region offers countless fortresses, picturesque noble estates and castles. This is also the reason why this area is also called "God's Garden of Paradise".

Castle hotel in the vineyards
In its midst, lovely Englar Castle, probably the best preserved gothic castle in South Tyrol. It stands high above terraces of vineyards, offering a unique panoramic view, a traditional farm and also a stand-alone castle chapel.

The estate
From time immemorial, wine has been cultivated here. The South Tyrolean climate, the high-quality soils and a love for wine production confer the special character on their castle wines. Since 2014, the wines are again pressed on site. All grapes come from the castle's land, made into wine and bottled right here on the estate as well. The selection includes: Cuvée, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Gewürztraminer, Vernatsch, Pinot noir and Passito.
