A gathering place for centuries
Located right in the heart of Brixlegg, at the entrance to the Alpbachtal valley, the Herrnhaus is a traditional inn with a centuries-old history. During the heyday of Tyrolean mining, this house with its distinctive onion domes served as the residence of the “Hammerherren.” Today, the Moigg family runs this historic establishment with immense passion and a genuine love of hospitality. Fine dishes are served in five different dining rooms and in the cozy garden restaurant. The large hall also offers space for celebrations of every kind.

Specialties at Restaurant Gasthof Herrnhaus
At Gasthof Herrnhaus, the Moigg family delights their guests with an outstanding cuisine in which regional ingredients, wild game from their own hunting grounds, and creative compositions come together in perfect harmony. Chef Lukas Moigg conjures up three different menus: gourmet, traditional Austrian inn-style, and vegetarian. Sommelier Maximilian Moigg selects the perfect companion wines from a collection of around 300 exquisite vintages, which can also be sampled in the in-house wine bar. And Sandra Moigg adds the finishing touches with loving details such as floral arrangements from her own garden, creating the warm and inviting atmosphere that makes this historic house so special.
