Weddings at Schlosshotel Szidónia

At Schlosshotel Szidónia, all of your fairytale wedding dreams come true. A magnificent castle with stately rooms, a castle chapel for the religious ceremony, and spacious castle grounds for your wedding photos. The experienced castle team supports you every step of the way, from planning, through the ceremony, to the wedding festivities afterwards.

Please note that weddings can only be organized in conjunction with the booking of at least 32 rooms. Exclusive events are possible with a reservation of 45 rooms. During the high season - from the second weekend in July to the end of August - wedding reservations are only accepted if the wedding party stays for at least 2 nights.

The hotel team is happy to organize the civil wedding ceremony at Schlosshotel Szidónia. For a Catholic wedding service, the castle's own chapel is available, letting out into the romantic castle gardens.

Can we party all night?
Almost. You can celebrate until 4 a.m., however, the time between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. will be charged extra.

Can confetti cannons be used?
Confetti cannons are popular as a way to add a touch of color to the ceremony or subsequent festivities. Please note, however, that because of environmental concerns and the additional cleaning efforts involved, the use of these cannons is not permitted in the park grounds or the actual castle building.
