Special Places for Special Occasions
A castle. Of your very own - for a while at least. For occasions that deserve space. And depth. Our Schlosshotels & Herrenhäuser open their doors for weddings, celebrations, conferences, and special gatherings. For festivities that leave a lasting impression. For conversations that continue to resonate. For ideas with room to grow. For days that deserve more than a run-of-the-mill location.

Schloss Leopoldskron: For Great Ideas and Stories of Your Own
In front of Schloss Leopoldskron lies the idyllic lake; beyond it are Salzburg, the fortress, and the mountains. Inside, you are greeted by the Marble Hall, salons, the Great Hall, and the Max Reinhardt Library. Outside, the park, terraces, and pathways alongside the water extend the experience into the open air. Weddings, conferences, corporate retreats, receptions, and private festivities all take place in a setting where people have long gathered to think, discuss, celebrate, and work. A place where great ideas have taken shape and even film history has been made.
When Schloss Leopoldskron is reserved in its entirety, the experience expands far beyond a single room. For a time, everything belongs together. And to you alone. With 12 Schloss suites, 55 rooms in the Meierhof, breakfast served in the magnificent state rooms, paths by the water, and views of the fortress, Leopoldskron becomes your own personal Salzburg estate.

The Bergschlössl: Eight Rooms, One House, Everything Close By
Das Bergschlössl in St. Anton is made for occasions that are intentionally kept small, private, and personal. Reserving the entire boutique hotel gives you the privacy of a luxurious chalet all your own: eight individually designed rooms, breakfast in the old Tyrolean parlor, and a rejuvenating retreat in the intimate spa as needed. Everything you could wish for. Everything close at hand. Surrounded by historic walls, an Alpine landscape, and loving details. Hosted by people who run their establishment with genuine care and sensitivity. In winter, the day begins by hitting the slopes; in the warmer months, it leads you out into the mountains – and ultimately, always back again to this small house in the Arlberg.

Schloss Mittersill: Space for Many Guests and Grand Occasions
High above the Salzach Valley, between Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbühel Alps, Schloss Mittersill provides a magnificent setting for special occasions. Weddings take place in its historic rooms, in the castle's own chapel, or on the terrace overlooking the mountains, while private celebrations, corporate events, and conferences make use of its salons, fireplace lounge, castle courtyard, and seminar rooms equipped with modern technology.
If desired, Schloss Mittersill can also be reserved exclusively. When it is, everything unfolds in one place – from the welcome reception to the celebration or conference, the overnight stay at the castle, and breakfast together the following morning. No having to change venues. No interruptions. Just the castle providing a seamless backdrop throughout. Distances are short, the pace mellow. A single day becomes an entire weekend. And one occasion becomes precious time shared together.

Burg Bernstein: Where Old Stories Become Part of New Celebrations
For centuries, Burg Bernstein in Burgenland has been a place where people have loved, negotiated, celebrated, and argued. Decisions were set in motion here, festivities reached their climax, and farewells found the silence that spoke a thousand words. What remains are legends. Myths. And intangible traces that endure far beyond their own moment in time. They can still be felt today – and become part of every new beginning.
Weddings and Exclusive Celebrations in Burgenland
Every celebration at Burg Bernstein is arranged as an exclusive event, ensuring complete privacy for guests. Around 25 people can stay overnight at the castle itself, with additional accommodations available in the village and surrounding area.
Weddings, in particular, become a journey through history at Burg Bernstein. The bride's entrance alone leads via the 16th-century staircase, now serving as the Heraldic Hall. From there, we continue through the castle garden and alongside the ivy-clad defensive walls to the approximately 250-year-old chestnut tree, one of the castle's most sought-after locations for “tying the knot”. For an indoor ceremony, the oratory above the chapel lends itself perfectly. Afterwards, the celebration moves to the Renaissance banquet hall, seating up to 50 guests, before the evening gradually winds down in the fireplace lounge or the salon.

Burg Feistritz: Gather. Experience. Stay.
New ideas need space. Time. And sometimes a chance to step away from the familiar. Burg Feistritz in Lower Austria opens its doors for workshops, seminars, cultural events, and celebrations where people come together, stay awhile, and continue thinking. For a time, participants, artists, guests, and hosts share the same castle. They work, rehearse, celebrate - and even get married.
The arcaded courtyard, Knights' Hall, castle chapel, studios, seminar rooms, terraces, guest rooms, and Cavalier Houses provide the perfect backdrop. Beyond them lies a park with mature trees, ponds, and streams, along with dining rooms that accommodate up to 60 guests. The centerpiece for larger events is the Old Riding School, dating from the 19th century. With its stage, generous dimensions, and catering facilities, it gives the castle room throughout the summer for performances, celebrations, and evenings that call for a grander setting.

Landhaus Koller: Small, Refined, and Entirely Yours
A garden. Mature trees. A pool surrounded by greenery. Beyond them stands the Gründerzeit villa, nestled in the Salzkammergut above the Gosau Valley and north of the Dachstein massif. Landhaus Koller is made for occasions that call for closeness: private celebrations, birthdays, and weddings. It can accommodate up to 40 guests. Upon request, the entire property can be reserved exclusively. Then the park, the villa's distinctive atmosphere, its rustic elegance, and the peace & quiet of the house become solely the domain of your own gathering.
Landhaus Koller is equally well suited to seminars, workshops, executive retreats, press conferences, and product presentations. The gallery provides space for creative work, focused discussions, and inspiring encounters for up to 20 participants. Multi-day meetings can be complemented with breaks, lunch, conference refreshments, and evening dinners, while your hosts are also happy to arrange excursions and activities in the surrounding area. In this way, Landhaus Koller remains a place for smaller groups that wish to remain undisturbed – personal, relaxed, and with all the space needed for new ideas to take shape.

Schloss Englar: A Small Castle Amid the Vineyards
Perched above the vineyards of Eppan, amidst the estate, winery, and gardens, Schloss Englar languishes peacefully in the landscape of South Tyrol. Guests stay in eight individually appointed rooms within the Gothic castle, whilst sun-drenched gardens, mature trees, and a pool overlooking the surrounding countryside await them outside. For weddings, Schloss Englar opens its castle chapel, elegant reception rooms, and outdoor spaces beneath the vines. Those planning a more intimate celebration – or simply seeking a peaceful retreat in nature – will find just the place at the Moosmühle: a detached holiday home by a stream, with its own garden, fire pit, and room for up to nine guests.

Villa Soleil: Italian Lightness in Piedmont
Villa Soleil welcomes guests to an 18th-century historic residence that has been thoughtfully expanded, carefully reimagined, and lovingly preserved. Here, the day begins beneath mature trees – in the park, in the courtyard, or beside the pool. Beyond lie the rolling hills of Canavese; inside, antique ceilings and elegant rooms; outside, an iron-and-glass orangery that lends the property its unmistakably light Italian character.
When you celebrate here, the villa is yours alone for the day. Only one event is hosted each day, giving weddings, family celebrations, gala dinners, baptisms, corporate events, and meetings an unhurried pace and a rhythm all their own. With 16 rooms and suites, the celebration doesn't end when the last course is served. There is time to arrive, celebrate, and linger – in a villa that, for a little while, feels like your own private home in Piedmont.

Schloss Hellbrunn: Celebrate Where Amusements Have a Long History
A stroll through the park. A peek into the grottos. Laughter amidst the Trick Fountains. At Hellbrunn, a celebration doesn't begin in the banquet hall. It begins outdoors, between winding paths, fountains, and delightful surprises that have been part of the palace for more than 400 years. Markus Sittikus created Hellbrunn as a place of pleasure, wonder, and play – and that spirit still defines it today. The park, palace, and Trick Fountains provide the setting for private celebrations, corporate events, and cultural and sporting occasions, while the Fasaneriehof accommodates larger events for up to 700 guests.
Weddings Between the Park, Gazebo, and Trick Fountains
Couples can exchange their vows under an open sky, in the small palace chapel, or in the famous Sound of Music gazebo, where film history was made long ago. Afterwards, the celebration continues at the historic Schlossrestaurant in the side wing of the palace, with rooms for receptions of up to 300 guests. And later, perhaps, everyone ventures back out to the Trick Fountains – the place where Hellbrunn is at its most enchanting, somewhere between wonder, laughter, and that moment when no one is quite sure what will happen next.

Schlosswirt zu Anif: The Rolls-Royce Is Already Waiting
Just two kilometers from Schloss Hellbrunn lies its sister property, the Schlosswirt zu Anif. Set beside the moated Anif Castle, it combines historic hospitality with a charming garden terrace, Biedermeier-style rooms, and exceptional cuisine. Here, guests celebrating at Hellbrunn find an ideal nearby place to stay, while the Schlosswirt itself also offers everything needed for special occasions. Wedding ceremonies take place in the garden, surrounded by flowers, mature trees, and views of Hohensalzburg Fortress. In bad weather, the Salettl or the Anif Room provide an elegant alternative. Bright meeting rooms are available for seminars and conferences, while 30 individually designed guest rooms afford plenty of space for the wedding couple, their families, and friends to reside. And last but not least, there is the house's own Rolls-Royce – ready for the journey to the celebration, the drive afterwards, or that one unforgettable moment at the entrance before the day truly begins.

Perhaps it is the quiet of centuries-old walls. Perhaps it is a setting that transforms an occasion from the moment you arrive. Or perhaps it is the rooms that have witnessed conversations, celebrations, and new beginnings for centuries. At the Schlosshotels & Herrenhäuser, history continues – quietly, naturally, and with refined sensitivity for everything that came before. The result is a collection of places that give every occasion the space it deserves, while remaining open to renewal in every form.
