It always brings the Ebster family immense joy when couples, even many years after the big event, continue to affirm just how emotionally moving their wedding celebration at Landgasthof Linde was, further enhanced by the extraordinary culinary experience to which they had been treated. The ancient walls of the main building, the majestic linden tree in the courtyard, and the neighboring Stummer Schloss create a romantic atmosphere and the perfect backdrop for your own traditional wedding celebration, no matter the season.
To make your wedding day equally unforgettable, the entire Linde team is at your service, from planning the festivities and orchestrating the big day, right through to the final “chord” the following morning.
Landgasthof Linde offers various venues appropriate to the size of your wedding party. Choices include the charming Sommerhäusl, a traditional dining room on the ground floor, and the expansive Wedding Hall on the first floor, which can host up to 120 guests. The spacious sun terrace, with views of the orchard, is an ideal spot to sip on aperitifs outdoors.
The wedding banquet is undoubtedly the centerpiece of any celebration. With meticulous attention to every “little” detail and vast experience, the Ebster family and their team collaborate with you to curate the perfect menu and beverage selection. Whether you are drawn to the flavors of traditional Tyrolean tavern cuisine or their acclaimed gourmet dishes, you will be able to personalize a sequence of dishes that will suit your preferences to a “T”.
In the historic main building of Landgasthof Linde, you will discover 3 exquisitely furnished guest rooms and 2 maisonette-style suites. Right next to the Linde is the so-called "annex", known as Haus Erna, with 6 rooms and suites, as well as a charming little spa with garden pool. Approximately 150 meters from the Linde, you will also find the beautifully designed Landhaus Luise, nestled quietly at the edge of the forest and offering 4 idyllic guest rooms.
Where exactly is Stumm located?
Stumm is situated on the sunny side of the Zillertal in Tyrol, a southern side valley off the Inn river.
How long has the Linde been in existence?
A historical record from the year 911 identifies the property as an outbuilding associated with the nearby castle. In 1506, the Landgasthof Linde was first granted a license to serve alcoholic beverages, and since 1857 it has been owned by the Ebster family.
What makes their cuisine stand out?
The Ebster family and their team craft culinary delights from Zillertal and Tyrol, always using fresh local products, including those from their own vegetable and herb garden. Many recipes were handed down to Hannes Ebster from his mother and aunts, recipes which he has skillfully refined in his own way. The Tyrolean inn-style cuisine of the Linde has received multiple accolades.
