Wedding Celebrations at Schlosshotel Iglhauser

Schlosshotel Iglhauser is situated on a peninsula on Lake Mattsee near Salzburg. The location originally housed a medieval brewery and tavern. With its superb cuisine, a well-curated wine cellar, and the idyllic lakeside setting, this marvelous venue sets the stage for a picture-perfect wedding celebration.

The civil registry office and the church are located in close proximity to Schlosshotel Iglhauser in Mattsee, readily accessible on foot. Bearing in mind that Schlosshotel Iglhauser only hosts weddings in conjunction with bookings of a minimum of 30 rooms for 2 nights, here's a suggested itinerary for your wedding weekend:

On Friday: Arrival, relaxation by the lake, in the garden, or by the pool. In the evening: “Tapping the beer keg” and a joint pre-wedding celebration for the bride and groom.
On Saturday: The ceremony, followed by a lakeside banquet in the "Glass Palace" with its 600 square meters of covered space, then continue the celebration at the bar
On Sunday: Refreshing swim in Mattsee, followed by a brunch in the conservatory, the in-house café, and/or on the lakeside terrace

How late can the celebration go on?
The Iglhauser team takes care of the bride, groom, and their guests at the wedding banquet until midnight. After that, the celebration can continue in the bar until 2 AM.

Is it possible to book the wedding celebration without an overnight stay?
Small celebrations are possible without an overnight stay, depending on the date and by arrangement. For larger weddings, a minimum of 30 rooms must be booked for 2 nights.
