Winery Bründlmayer

Cultivating 75 ha of vineyards, the Bründlmayer family produces Austria’s flagship wines, the Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. Their specialties include Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, from which they also create an outstanding sparkling wine, Bründlmayer Brut, which, according to Hugh Johnson, is “Austria’s best sparkling wine”.

Grape varieties Grauburgunder, Muskateller, St. Laurent, Zweigelt and Cabernet complete the multifaceted selection which the Falstaff Wine Guide judged as follows: “Virtually every wine, from the lightest Grüner Veltliner to their reds and sparkling wines, has the potential to be the year’s best in its category."
