At the entrance to the picturesque Antholzertal in South Tyrol, the stunning and stately Ansitz Heufler awaits, highlighted by the "Hearnstube," a masterpiece of the Renaissance. With deep connections to culture and art, it regularly hosts workshops on a variety of topics and techniques, with the historic setting of Ansitz Heufler providing the perfect backdrop.
At the end of May, photography enthusiasts can take part in a workshop to learn all about analogue black-and-white photography and darkroom techniques – no prior experience necessary! Those who own an analogue camera are encouraged to bring it along, while everyone else is welcome to borrow one on-location.

Ansitz Heufler & Antholzersee
Arrival and check-in for those staying overnight at Ansitz Heufler
Camera check and loading of cameras with black-and-white film
Brief theory session covering the fundamentals of black-and-white photography
Excursion to Antholzersee for a hands-on photography experience
Insights into shooting techniques, photographic style, composition, and expert tips from the photographer
Development of negatives in the darkroom
End-of-day discussion and exchange amongst participants over an aperitif
For hotel guests: Overnight stay in one of the beautiful rooms or suites

Evaluation of negatives and selection of favorites
Brief introduction to darkroom theory
Film materials & photographic chemistry
Creation of a positive print using an enlarger
Final discussion, presentation, and conclusion
