Autumn in Tuscany

The hills of Chianti are especially beautiful in the autumn months. The facade of Villa le Barone, covered in Virginia creeper, is ablaze in a deep red. In the forests and vineyards meanwhile, vivid golds and fiery reds vie for your attention.

In autumn, and in October especially, the temperatures in Tuscany are very pleasant. With the hot summer now over, the weather is ideal to spend some time outdoors: hiking, cycling, visiting the magical villages which surround the Villa, or enjoying a game of tennis on the hotel's own court. You are also certain to love taking a swim in the beautiful, heated, saltwater infinity pool.

From 3 November 2022 until 7 April 2023, the Villa le Barone greets you with a smaller room selection and breakfast only. But precisely because of this, you will have an even keener sense that you are staying at a private residence.

As of 7 April 2023, the entire house will once again be available to guests and we will be happy to accept your reservations for the year ahead. Tuscany is - regardless of the season - always well worth the journey.
