Black Forest Hotel with Character

This boutique hotel features 25 individually designed rooms and suites, an exclusive wellness area with a sauna and views of nature, and stylish spaces for relaxation and socializing. All furnishings and amenities were regionally sourced whenever possible, and offer strong, distinctive design. The personal care of host Hansjörg Gutmann and the concierge service ensures that every stay is unforgettable.

At the Schlossmühle, breakfast can be enjoyed until 11 a.m. – whether in the dining room, the lounge, the living room, or the idyllic garden. The charming mix of buffet and served dishes, which of course include vegetarian and vegan options, ensures the perfect start to your day.

Schlossmühle Glottertal not only combines history and design, but also a deep family tradition. Since 1951, this business has been run by the Mack-Gutmann family, who once operated a wine tavern here before transforming it into a guesthouse, and finally into a boutique hotel. Once a grain mill, later a bakery and a wagon outfitter’s, the historic walls bear witness to a storied past. Today, the fourth generation of this family welcomes guests with a unique concept that brings the spirit of the past to life within an aura of modern luxury.
