Kremstal and Neusiedler See: Winery Sepp Moser
Located in the small village of Rohrendorf near Krems, 70 km west of Vienna, is the family’s main home: the unique “Atrium House”. The wine-growing tradition of this family extends back to the year 1849.
Sepp Moser, son of wine-growing pioneer Dr. HC Lenz Moser, founded the business as it is structured today in 1986, with vineyards in the Kremstal and Neusiedlersee wine regions. As one of the first Austrian wineries to do so, beginning in 2000 son Nikolaus Moser and wife Andrea converted step by step to biodynamic production based on Demeter guidelines.
Classic and minerally whites from terraced vineyards in the Danube Valley, as well as expressive, beautifully structured red wines and exquisitely sweet specialties from the Seewinkel district of Burgenland, are pressed and matured in their venerable cellars.
Through their purist approach to wine growing and vinification, Sepp Moser wines are never obtrusive, captivating instead through their complexity, elegance and depth.
The Atrium House, built to the style and dimensions of its Roman forbears, including a pillared hall, spacious terrace and picturesque garden, provides the ideal ambience for weddings; including civil and Protestant ceremonies.
Whether wine tastings and seminars in settings small or large, private celebrations, or business presentations and events, Andrea Moser is always happy to plan with, and for you the perfect custom-tailored occasion!
