It goes without saying that delectable enjoyment isn’t neglected even in the slightest at Stiegl-Gut Wildshut. The “Kråmerladen” mainly offers homemade products, including: delicious bread, beautiful butter, meat, cheese and ham from their own farm; and, of course, Wildshut beers, in which you can clearly taste the unique, concentrated flavors of ancient grains that have been cultivated right there on the estate. Aside from the “Wildshuter Sortenspiel”, there are two other Wildshut beers to choose from – “Wildshuter Gmahde Wiesn” and “Wildshuter Männerschokolade” – as there is a self-produced soft drink known as “Wildshuter Flüx”. In the small outdoor café just outside the Kråmerladen, you can whet your appetite for one or more products you might also wish to take with you to enjoy at home. Younger visitors will discover an ark, which very much symbolizes this company’s beliefs: The owners, the Kiener family, are dedicated to protecting and nurturing the treasure trove of traditional crops for generations to come.
