The Stiegl-Paracelsusstube prepares regional specialties, cooks with beer and even offers beer-tasting menus upon request.
When beer and food unite in a wonderful symbiosis, when the dark aromas of roasted malt blend with the gentle flavor of homemade vanilla ice cream, and when beery notes in the sauce serve as perfect companions to the meat, then you know you are currently enjoying a visit to the Paracelsusstube, the restaurant at Stiegl-Brauwelt.
Here, head chef Matthias Mackner gives free rein to his creativity. Seasonal offers from the region, above all from their own Stiegl-Gut Wildshut, shape the menu. A menu which also provides with us with exciting evidence that beer, too, is a wonderful cooking ingredient. The relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant invites guests to take their time and truly savor the experience, while certified beer sommeliers are right there to share their expertise and insights whenever it is time to find the perfect beer. The menu, too, offers a number of recommendations to go with every dish. And those recommendations also embrace international brews, allowing guests to select from over 30 different beers. Even prompting many an avowed wine drinker to “reconsider”. Enjoy a very special evening and give yourself a beery treat here in the Stiegl-Paracelsusstube.
