This early 18th-century Villa is a recently restored masterpiece of Italian architect D'Andrade.

Its walls tell the story of Giuseppe Giacosa, poet, playwright and librettist of Puccini operas including La Bohéme, who first escaped the small world of Canavese for a grander one of the arts, later returning with the likes of Sarah Bernhardt and Puccini.

The atmosphere of the hotel is enchanting, not least due to antique wooden ceilings (anno 1400), a fireplace with authentic signatures of famous writers, and a 5,000 m2 park. The charming hotel offers 15 comfortable rooms, each furnished appropriate to the original era.
