Villetta Phasiana

Far removed from the turbulence of daily life and only 20 metres from the sea, set amid a small, quiet fishing village. This is where you will find Villetta Phasiana, allowing you to experience the peaceful Mediterranean lifestyle to the full.
 
The building of Villetta Phasiana dates back to the 16th century. Over a hundred years ago, it was already a hotel providing accommodations to businessmen and travellers who came to Fazana.
After World War II, the Brioni Islands became the residence of Yugoslavian President Tito. They were closely guarded and closed to the public. The same thing happened with Fazana. The building of today's Villetta Phasiana was abandoned and, in the course of the following 50 years, fell into total ruin.

In 2007 the reconstruction of Villetta Phasiana was completed. The building was rebuilt with great attention to detail, with every original stone possible being carefully preserved.
The 16th century house was outfitted with the very latest technologies, today offering an impeccable combination of old and new. With its 18 charming rooms, the view of the small fishing harbour and the Brioni archipelago, Villetta Phasiana offers a warm and intimate atmosphere, one in which every guest is able to find his or her ideal spot for rest and recreation.
Whether in the secluded Istria Garden, the "La Barchetta" bar or out on the terrace bar, where you are wafted by those light Mediterranean breezes, every guest has an opportunity to experience the utter peace and quiet of our small Mediterranean village.
