Special Features
Every nook, every cranny of this house has its own tale to tell of a centuries-old tradition, of hospitality and of Tyrolean cuisine that continues to be alive and well.
Creativity combined with regional roots, tradition and modernity – these are the breadths we span with the dishes created in our kitchens. We meet this challenge each day anew. Produce from local farmers is combined with a healthful, agreeable approach to cooking and, last but not least, the Strasserwirt’s herb gardens, providing many ingredients which our guests are later able enjoy in a creative, refined form.
Fine, sensitive Tyrolean cuisine, prepared with love, dedication, body and soul by the gourmet hands of Werner Gander, ensures that any and every visit to the Strasserwirt’s restaurant and lounges is an extraordinary experience. The Strasserwirt’s wine cellar conceals vinological treasures in far from insignificant numbers – friendly staff will present these special wines, attentive to guests’ preferences and always willing to share their expertise.
The individually appointed rooms and suites, each a unique treasure unto itself, invite you to unwind, let go and discover renewed energy.
Recreational Opportunities
Massage Health for body, mind and soul Our focus is on creating an atmosphere of relaxation, recreation and regeneration. The professional, individualized care and the undivided attention of everyone involved, result in a level of trust which allows body and spirit to come to rest, while the soul is able to truly unfold.
Summer Group experiences – active enjoyment Located between the South Tyrol and Lienz Dolomites, the Strasserwirt is an ideal oasis retreat, offering enjoyable hikes and extended tours of the mountains. How about a bicycle ride for two – we have some great ideas for secluded spots along the way, along with a picnic basket filled with delicious treats. Just some of the opportunities for active hours of summer sunshine.
Winter Wintertime fun at the Strasserwirt is all about alpine and cross-country skiing, winter hiking and snowshoeing, but also about relaxing hours spent next to an open fire, delightful restaurant visits and so much more ...
