Journey into the past all-inclusive

Schloss Mittersill offers a very special experience. A magical holiday which simultaneously becomes a journey into the past. The impressive story of this castle begins in the 12th century and has many chapters. And just recently, yet another one was added, with the castle changing ownership in December 2009. A start was made to painstakingly restore the castle and raise the quality for guests. Over the next several years, intensive work to raise our standards even higher will continue unabated.

Fairy-tale (historically listed) Schloss Mittersill lies in the midst of the Hohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region. Guests are within just a few minutes’ reach of the gateway to the Kitzbühel Alps ski region. In the immediate surrounding area you will find the well-known ski areas of Ski-Arena Wildkogel, the Zillertal-Arena, Zell am See - Kaprun and Saalbach Hinterglemm. Due to the central location, the recreational opportunities away from the slopes are very diverse as well. National Park Worlds (3 km), the nearby towns of Mittersill (3 km), Kitzbühel (ca. 20 km) and Zell am See (30 km), along with Tauern Spa Kaprun (25 km), are just some of the highlights. And the scenery? Fantastic! Panoramic views out across the town of Mittersill and the magical landscapes of the Austrian Alps.

With remodeling work in the east wing complete, you will be staying in new, stylishly designed rooms with breathtaking views and exclusive furnishings.
