Herberge an der Nikolauszeche

This “hostel by the Nikolauszeche” is a hotel-garni located at one of the oldest buildings in Burgenland. We offer 6 deluxe double suites and one deluxe single bedroom. In the colder seasons, too, the library and its warm fireplace exude a comfortable ambience which our guests truly relish.
The Nikolauszeche lies in the town of Purbach, on the northern reaches of the Neusiedlersee and in the midst of the best red-wine region in all of Europe. Beautiful bike paths, hiking trails passing through vineyards, as well as a solar-heated municipal open-air pool with broad sunbathing areas, are also available for our guests to enjoy. The Donnerskirchen golf course is just 2 km away, located right on the Neusiedlersee’s beautiful shoreline.
